Innovation Portfolio Manager / IATF Specialist (m/f/d)

The Innovation Portfolio Manager leads the portfolio management and project delivery process. Aligning projects, programs and operations with strategic objectives, investing resources in the right work to deliver the expected value. In addition, ensuring maximization of profitable and timely delivery of projects. Lead project delivery according to governance and IATF standards by planning and executing initiatives within the portfolio, working with all departments and partner stakeholders to analyze, redefine, monitor and control activities in support of BU objectives. The IATF Specialist role will lead and coordinate Latex Binders innovation to own IATF16949 innovation work process policies and procedures in close collaboration with Trinseo stakeholders.

• Lead the structuring and execution of the LB Innovation ideation process by strategically feeding the pipeline to maximise value.
• Responsible for Innovation's overall project management function, providing leadership, integration and management of PMO processes (including IATF) and functions to improve consistency and efficiency of project delivery.
• Optimize the use of shared resources across the Innovation function, managing the overall risk, opportunity and interdependency of departmental projects and providing consolidated reporting and an enterprise view of portfolio investment and financial reconciliation.
• Provides people coaching, leadership and mentoring to Innovation Project Managers (direct reports) and IATF cross-functional teams.
• Develops and implements IATF compliance strategies and programmes within Latex Binders manufacturing facilities and supporting departments.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Engineering or equivalent, Business Administration a strong plus
• Project, programme or portfolio management certifications (from PMI or similar)
• 5+ years of experience with a portion in functional leadership, innovation excellence, innovation project management and (indirect) people leadership experience
• Deep understanding of IATF16949
• Knowledge of project & portfolio management systems such as Accolade
• Highly structured, disciplined and proactive working style
